Meet Katrin

Let me tell you my story of a corporate assistant turned body and dance therapist turned
digital networker...

My networking journey began when I fell for high-quality products in a presentation in my my mom's health-food store.

And turned sour when the lady who signed me up tried to make do the biz - even though I wasn't looking for a plan B at all. I said never am I ever looking at that again.

That never lasted seven years. That saw me use the products for myself, family and clients.

But then, I realized my well-paid corporate job wasn't all that safe.

And that I can only help so many people in my body and dance therapy practice - and many who needed my help were struggling to pay me.

At the time, I wanted to learn more about the products usage and effects, so I attended seminars where I met other personalities in my upline who became therapy clients of mine (for burnout!) and one also a friend.

And when I was ready to take a serious look at the biz, I was told

- This is so easy!

- The key to success is to be coachable!

- Make a list of friends and family to talk to!

- Sharing is caring - and go for no!

- Do home parties and one-on-ones!

- The products are so great, they sell themselves, everybody needs them!

Which one were you told when you got started?

I was about to find out that products don’t sell themselves - people buy from people they know like and trust...

But I didn't know better at the time, so I started following my friend's advice.

- I used my products in front of family and friends hoping they would want to know more.

- I asked them to support me and many did - for a while.

- I made a list of all my acquaintances, including colleagues at corporate, my son's teachers, waitresses, people I hadn't talked to in years etc, and started calling, messaging, inviting them to home parties.

Do I hear you groan?

Well, at some point, everybody knew what I was doing. And my uplines kept saying: just talk to more people...

Do any of these sound familiar to you?

- Cleaning the house for hours and sending the family away to do the next home party...

- Or preparing everything and driving for hours, missing out on time with the family to do parties, and getting home too late to even wish your loved ones goodnight?

- Oh, and how often have you driven miles for a party only to have 3 people there, two of them being you and the host? The other 10 people who’d promised to come canceled at the last minute because of some emergency...

And then there was the follow-up...

Making phone calls to customers asking them if they were ready to order more products...

(Our products lasted for months, so it was a constant challenge to keep people on autoship...)

Have you found yourself calling or messaging friends to tell them about your amazing products or opportunity, just to be told NO?

Are you being taught to talk to long-lost friends - not to genuinely catch up but to prospect them?

The problem is: at that point, it's become about you and no longer about helping the person you're talking to... And nobody likes to be sold to...

Well, after all that - what were my results?

I had some success, my parties were fun and valuable.

So much so that I had people attend and enjoy the time with me - only to tell me at the end that they were already signed up with someone else...

A year into this, I felt awkward even talking to my loyal customers about buying more products (their problems being solved) or host another party...

I had spent more weekends without my family than ever before... and realized this was my fast-track ticket to burn-out and not time-freedom...

I got distracted at my job and short-tempered with my men...

And finally, I was told to go talk to my therapeutic clients about the products and biz.

I cringed at the mere thought... and would have quit then and there...

Had it not been for my one serious biz builder who'd put her trust in me.

But I didn't want to let her down, knowing how much she needed this to work.

I knew there had to be a better way to build this biz, and I'm a firm believer things happen for a reason...

I turned to different mentors, books, the online world - but I wasn't going to plaster my personal profile with company info and promos, let alone start being fake social.

I followed gurus on social media, took tons of notes, but no action... Because I felt overwhelmed and didn't quite know how to start.

And one very late night, I found a youtube video that talked about a completely different strategy I resonated with...

I discovered the secret that I knew must be out there:

Attraction marketing!

The concept is so simple, I couldn’t believe I had been struggling offline for so long!

People are on social media to be social, not to be sold to.

If I create and share VALUE with others, people will come to me to find out more - instead of me having to chase after people!

I went all in.

I was coachable.

I started building online and said goodbye to parties, driving long hours to no shows, being away from my men.

I meet up with friends now to be social and not to prospect them!

I still love the products of my first company but have made the decision to join one of my mentors and friends in a company that's making waves in the industry.

We do things very differently here, truly serving those who need solutions to real problems.

I am building a global team using social media without ever posting about my company or products anywhere...

And since I was let go of my corporate job after 25 years just before Christmas in 2024...

I'm not only healing from 6 months of daily work-place bullying...

But also more passionate than ever to help you build your plan B before you need it.
